Personal Insurance

At Robert Wehn and Associates, we provide a wide choice of personal insurance, from auto and homeowners, to boats, RV's and umbrella policies.  Our professional staff can assist you in selecting the right coverage options for your specific lifestyle. Below you will find some information on the most popular types of personal insurance.  Robert Wehn and Associates has been helping people with their insurance needs for over a century.

Auto

Personal auto insurance coverage is not a one size fits all type of insurance.  Most people have either a car or light truck, but how about motorcycles, RV's, or even antique autos?  The Robert When and Associates Insurance experts evaluate your requirements and provide coverage matched to your needs. We’ll explain the variables in auto insurance, such as deductibles, what’s covered and what is excluded, and additional coverage that insures against potential losses as a result of a major accident.

Ways to save on your auto insurance

  • If your auto and home are written with in the same company you might be eligible for an account credit.
  • Having two or more vehicles insured in the same company could make you eligible for a multi-car discount.
  • You could get an anti-theft credit if you have a qualifying device installed in your vehicle.

Winter Driving Tips

  • Increase the space between your vehicle and others. You need more distance to stop safely on slippery surfaces.
  • Never lock your brakes on icy roads. You will lose steering control. If you do skid, remember to turn into the direction of the skid.
  • Increase the space between your vehicle and others. You need more distance to stop safely on slippery surfaces.
  • Because the earth does not insulate them, bridges and highway overpasses tend to freeze before the rest of the road and can be very slippery.
  • If it is snowing, start slowly. Test your bakes by tapping them gently to see how much traction your tires have.
  • Make sure your windshield wipers and defroster are in good condition.
  • Before driving, remove ice and snow from your vehicle. Clear all windows, windshield wipers, headlights, and brake lights. Clear ice and snow from your vehicle's roof so they do not blow off while you're driving and create hazards for drivers behind you.
  • Keep your fuel tank at least half full to prevent the fuel line from freezing.
  • Make sure you fill your windshield washer reservoir with a cleaning solution that will not freeze
  • Keep a blanket, flashlight, and a small shovel in your trunk.
